With today's ever increasing burden on kids to wade through the myriad of life's problems, there still exists an out let of support out youth. Sports and Athletics are the foundation for skill or the "life lessons" they need to learn. Through organized play, kids gain insight from their athletic experience and when lessons are taught right, these "skills" - being many and varied - transcend the athletic arena and have a direct and measurable impact on the development and outcome for our youth.
HoneyHarp Sports and Athletics aims to give back to the community through mentoring and coaching.

Logical progressions are made from Monday to Friday with teaching play time integrated in each session. Skating, shooting, puck handling, agility and fun, small area games are adapted to level of play. Outdoor activities will expose athletes to a variety of opportunities for body movements. Some conditioning activities will be part of the outdoor programming. All athletes will get pool time at least twice during the week.
TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP
Players meet at the back of the arena under the shelter. Leaders and directors will be waiting for you each morning and a variety of sports equipment will be available for those who are dropped off early. Kids will be split into two groups prior to the start of camp, half will go on the ice, half will start a session outside. We have a number of volunteers -both girls and boys- to help with equipment and skates. Parents do not have to help on the first day. We only ask that you ensure all equipment is in in your son/daughter's bag prior to coming.
OTHER SPORTS AT HOCKEY CAMP
Part of our focus at camp is to develop physical literacy and at times, we'll be teaching new sports. Your child does not have to be a fantastic athlete in order to take part in this camp. We hope to foster an interest in developing fine and gross motor skill in a variety of settings.
